Job Description:
The Best Practice Consultant, Enablement is primarily responsible for managing the Knowledge Management framework and content lifecycle across HR, ensuring the knowledge articles are effective and that they adhere to defined standards set by the organization. This role is also responsible for maintaining and managing the HR Operations-specific knowledge base and artifacts.
What will you do?
HR Knowledge Management Framework
Work with the Operational Excellence Leader to define the knowledge management strategy for HR.
Establish and manage the HR knowledge management framework (knowledge article types, access rights, knowledge management roles and responsibilities, update procedures, etc.), working across HR to ensure the framework is well understood and consistently followed.
Work with other HR partners to establish knowledge content strategy, defining writing standards, templates, as well as the overall knowledge base architecture.
Maintain functional and technical requirements for the knowledge management platform; collaborate with HR Systems team to ensure the technology platform is configured as per the organization’s needs.
HR Knowledge Lifecycle Management
Monitor the effectiveness and usage of the knowledge base through regular reviews and reporting, identifying opportunities for improvement; liaise with various HR teams to implement improvement opportunities.
Orchestrate content updates for expiring knowledge content.
HR Operations Enabling Tools and Artifacts
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of knowledge articles for HR Operations, liaising with appropriate teams within HR Operations to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and Job Aid documentation.
Ensure HR Operations teams have all the tools and job aids required to deliver services effectively and consistently.
Ensure that process maps and standard operating procedures are documented and maintained.
Create, maintain, and deliver ongoing training plans around key HR Operations transactions, policies, and/or procedures with the aim of increasing efficiency and effectiveness of HR Operations service delivery.
Maintain all business and functional requirements for HR Operations enabling tools (e.g., Case management, portal, knowledge management); Support ongoing enhancement of HR Enabling technologies, including testing and training support for HR Operations employees.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
