As an Azure Data Engineer, you will make an impact by crafting and optimizing scalable data pipelines, storage solutions, and workflows using ground breaking azure technologies to improve overall efficiency in data integration and processing. You will be a valued member of our AIA team and work collaboratively with our Data and Analytics Manager.
In this role, you will
- Create and implement scalable, secure data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Manage and optimize data storage with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
- Improve data quality through cleaning, transformation, and integration processes.
- Develop Python scripts for extracting data from external systems and automating workflows.
- Build and optimize stored procedures in Snowflake, coordinated with ADF pipelines.
- Improve and adapt ADF pipelines and Snowflake procedures based on evolving requirements.
- Apply Azure Databricks for crafting and modifying notebooks to support data workflows.
- Monitor and tackle data pipelines to ensure high availability and efficiency.
- Support DevOps and GitHub processes for migrations and version control.
- Document systems, architectures, and procedures to ensure transparency and compliance.
What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and Python.
- Solid grasp of data integration, transformation, and storage in cloud environments.
- Outstanding knowledge of DevOps practices, GitHub workflows, and migration processes.

- Top-tier proficiency with Azure Databricks.
