Role overview:

We are seeking an expert Automation Test Lead with experience in automation testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a good background in TypeScript, Playwright, and BDD. You will be responsible for developing and completing automated tests, including integration/API tests and end-to-end testing using JavaScript frameworks such as TypeScript or Cypress testing.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Develop and maintain JavaScript-based test automation frameworks for web applications.
• Design, Develop and Implement test automation frameworks and test cases for API automation.
• Provide guidance on the use of TypeScript Playwright and BDD in testing processes.
• Maintain automation-related test documentation, test plans, and test cases.
• Be responsible for the creation and execution of test plans and test cases.
• Ensure that all testing activities are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor and report on testing progress and outcomes.
• Responsible for overseeing the testing process, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and contributing to the overall success of our projects.

What you bring to the role:

• Overall, 8 to 12 years of IT experience focused on QA software testing with strong experience in automation testing.
• Experience in TypeScript/Cypress, BDD, Playwright is required
• Good experience in building automation frameworks using JavaScript and TypeScript/Cypress testing.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript or Cypress automation.
• Minimum of 3+ Years experience in API Automation, Rest API using Postman tool or Rest Assured.
• Proven experience with test automation with creating and maintaining test scripts and customed designed tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript programming language.
• Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus.
