Your Job

Workplace: Montreal (2020, Blvd. Robert-Bourassa)
Your mission:
In an Agile project approach, perform various tasks to test and analyze technical application components of the AI Engineering department, which includes artificial intelligence models, with the aim of improving systems, workflow and the profitability. You will also be required to work on the development of automated tests between the different platforms. The degree of complexity can vary throughout the life cycle of projects. Depending on the scope of the projects, testing and analysis can cover a number of platforms so that we can verify the logic of the programs in detail while ensuring that we meet the requirements of the company. You will have to:

Analyze, define and translate functional and technical specifications into test requirements
Design and develop automated tests compatible with the internal testing framework
Design and develop test cases for the various components of the system, of the application under development
Work in collaboration with the Product Owner and the Squad to prioritize the test ‘stories’
Attend Agile project ceremonies to report on the status of tests, communicate problems, implement QA standards and policies and communicate the QA schedule
Ensure that customer needs are met with the highest quality
Manage and coordinate end-to-end testing activities for projects

Your Skills

You are:

A good communicator (oral and written) in French and English
A team player with an analytical mind and attention to details
Able to establish priorities, manage them and readjust yourself in case of change
Persevering and have problem-solving skills - Available to work occasionally outside normal business hours (weekends, etc.), during deployments

You have:

Bachelor's or DEC in a field related to IT or any other combination of experience and related training deemed relevant
Minimum of 4 years of experience in test automation
In-depth knowledge of test automation and test development tools (Carina, RobotFramework, etc.)
Knowledge of programming software applications and/or system
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java or C #
A good understanding of the CI / CD concept
A good knowledge of JIRA (Test plugin)


Knowledge of the insurance industry
Knowledge of analytical data tools
