Adecco is currently hiring a Refinish Technician for a full-time, permanent opportunity with a growing autobody repair team in Hinton, Alberta.

In this role, you will primarily focus on preparing and masking vehicles for the paint department, while also providing coverage during high-volume periods or vacation coverage. The ideal candidate has autobody shop experience, strong knowledge of prep and paint processes, and a commitment to quality and safety.

  • Salary: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour + production rates

  • Location: Hinton, AB

  • Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday | Approximately 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vehicles and parts for painting, including masking and sanding

  • Perform buffing, wet sanding, and polishing of painted vehicles

  • Support the paint department during peak workloads or absences

  • Follow all Health and Safety programs and participate in safety meetings

  • Attend daily and/or weekly production meetings

  • Maintain a clean and organized shop environment

  • Complete additional duties as assigned by the Location Manager

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in an autobody shop required

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle prep and painting processes

  • Journeyperson or Red Seal certification preferred (apprentices in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year will be considered)

  • Valid driver’s license required

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and use of hand tools

  • Eligible to work in Canada
