Job Summary:
The Associate Director, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) contributes to business success for their assigned client group(s) by bringing to bear timely & relevant HR Services & Support, aligned with the client group(s) business strategy, that provide measurable value. The Associate Director, Human Resources Business Partner is a respected and trusted strategic coach and advisor to leaders and employees on all organizational and employee-related matters. Client groups can change from time to time.
What you will do:
Works with the client leadership team and with colleagues in HR to develop and deliver against an agreed-to set of HR objectives that contribute to client group(s) and HOOPP business and organizational success;
Acts as a conduit for objectively and productively sharing client group(s) HR needs with Corporate HR and Corporate HR's needs with the client group(s) in a way that ensures that HR is providing the right services in the right way to clients, and that clients are providing Corporate HR and HOOPP with the right actions and behaviors;
Partners with fellow colleagues in HR to provide client group(s) with knowledge, skills, and expertise in: Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Optimization, Organizational Engagement & Effectiveness, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, HR Programs & Processes, Projects & Consulting, and Coaching, that are trusted, relevant, value-adding, and that contribute to the client group(s) and HOOPP's business and organizational success;
Champions HOOPP, the client group(s), and HR internally, and to external stakeholders to support and enhance HOOPP's employer brand and value proposition;
Upholds, and contributes to safeguarding, HOOPP's core values;
Partners with client group(s) senior leaders and HR in hiring for senior leadership and select business-critical roles;
Keeps client group Head and Head of HR informed with respect to organizational, business, and people-related information so that there are no surprises with respect to opportunities and risks, at any time.
Client group(s) achieves all of its business and organizational goals for the year;
HRBP and HR are judged, through surveys and/or feedback processes to have contributed to the client group's business success for the year;
HOOPP HR and the HRBP achieve all of the respective HR goals for the year;
HOOPP achieves all of its business and organizational goals for the year.
What you bring:
Minimum 10 years’ experience as an HRBP
The ideal candidate currently acts as a Sr. HR Business Partner to a complex, fast-moving, and constantly transforming client group or groups, with preference in FinTech/Software/IT.
This individual is can leverage data to tell a story; demonstrates effective and highly developed influence management, client relationship, and consulting skills; and is an energizing and accomplished communicator, both in speaking, and in written form.
As a trusted advisor, this collegial individual has demonstrated success in quickly engaging with and forging value-adding professional relationships with all stakeholders, including Leaders, HR, employees at all levels, and external partners and suppliers.
The ideal candidate has worked in one or more areas of HR, leading up to their growth as an HRBP, and has superior skills in talent selection, organizational effectiveness, compensation, project management, and leadership coaching/consulting.
The ideal candidate is courageous, collaborative, has a business orientation, and has a track record of success in delivering value-adding results that align with and contribute to organizational and HR success.
