What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as Associate Director – Cash Management & Client Cash Control. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence and driving execution across the day-to-day functions of these critical teams.
Drawing on deep subject matter expertise and proven change management capabilities, the successful candidate will lead the planning and implementation of key strategic initiatives in close partnership with both internal and external stakeholders.
As a trusted collaborator to Market Services Cash Product, Product and Financial Control, Credit Management, and various business and project leads, the Associate Director will champion operational efficiency and contribute meaningfully to the achievement of departmental objectives. Key areas of focus include optimizing end-of-day funding processes, ensuring effective Nostro account liquidity management, and consistently meeting internal and regulatory operational deadlines
What will you do?
- Lead and support strategic initiatives within Cash Operations, focusing on efficiency, automation, and risk mitigation.
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to implement best practices and process improvements.
- Ensure effective liquidity management and Nostro account funding at end-of-day across global markets.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service levels, compliance, and operational deadlines are consistently met.
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on process redesign, risk/control enhancements, and change management.
- Contribute to governance and reporting requirements, ensuring transparency and timely communication with leadership.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 5+ years of experience in Cash Management, Treasury Operations, or related financial services roles.
- Proven leadership in managing operational change and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of cash control, liquidity funding, and Nostro account management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant systems and tools (e.g., SWIFT, TLM, CMS, Excel, etc.)
- Strong ability to ask critical questions, anticipate problems/future needs, and take ownership.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Finance, Risk, and Technology.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results under pressure.
