Adecco is currently hiring permanent Assistant Hydrovac Drivers for our client, a reputable and multinational company located in Saskatoon, SK. We are looking for physically fit and dedicated individuals who can commit to full-time hours and occasional travel. As an Assistant Hydrovac Driver, you will play a pivotal role in the safe and efficient operation of the hydro-vacuum system, contributing to the overall success of our operations. 
  • Pay rate: $20/hour
  • Shifts: Variable, including weekends | 40-60 hours/ week
  • Location: Saskatoon, SK | Travel Required up up 25%
  • Job type: Full-time | Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Execute the safe operation of the hydro-vacuum system outside the truck.
  • Undertake ad-hoc tasks such as clean-up, equipment mobilization, and general maintenance.
  • Demonstrate effective and professional communication, prioritizing excellent customer service.
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, performing minor equipment repairs as necessary.
  • Attend safety meetings and consistently execute tasks with a strong emphasis on safety.
  • Utilize provided technology (iPad) for field ticketing, time management, and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and clear records of all relevant paperwork as required by regulations and policies.
Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • Previous experience in hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck operation, or related industrial roles is advantageous.
  • Possession of a minimum Class 5 license (G license in Ontario), along with an airbrake endorsement preference; accompanied by a satisfactory driving record.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude serves as a valuable asset.
  • Prior possession of safety certifications is preferred (e.g., First Aid/CPR, C.S.T.S, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space, OSSA, and Ground Disturbance).
  • Proven history of excelling in labor-intensive roles, coupled with the ability to effectively operate outdoors under diverse weather conditions, is essential.
  • Aptitude for both independent and collaborative work within a safety-focused team environment.
  • Adaptability to fluctuating shifts and extended working hours is essential.
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
