- Pay rate: $20/hour
- Shifts: Variable, including weekends | 40-60 hours/ week
- Location: Saskatoon, SK | Travel Required up up 25%
- Job type: Full-time | Permanent
- Execute the safe operation of the hydro-vacuum system outside the truck.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks such as clean-up, equipment mobilization, and general maintenance.
- Demonstrate effective and professional communication, prioritizing excellent customer service.
- Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, performing minor equipment repairs as necessary.
- Attend safety meetings and consistently execute tasks with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Utilize provided technology (iPad) for field ticketing, time management, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate and clear records of all relevant paperwork as required by regulations and policies.
- Previous experience in hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck operation, or related industrial roles is advantageous.
- Possession of a minimum Class 5 license (G license in Ontario), along with an airbrake endorsement preference; accompanied by a satisfactory driving record.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude serves as a valuable asset.
- Prior possession of safety certifications is preferred (e.g., First Aid/CPR, C.S.T.S, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Confined Space, OSSA, and Ground Disturbance).
- Proven history of excelling in labor-intensive roles, coupled with the ability to effectively operate outdoors under diverse weather conditions, is essential.
- Aptitude for both independent and collaborative work within a safety-focused team environment.
- Adaptability to fluctuating shifts and extended working hours is essential.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
