Adecco is currently hiring for several Assembly Operators in Ottawa, ON to work for our client, a medical device manufacturer who is dedicated to advancing diagnostic technology to improve patient care. Location: Ottawa, ON
Pay Rate: $20.62/hr
Shifts: 6:30AM - 6:30PM

Requirements:
Must be eligible to reside and work within Canada.
High School Diploma / Canadian education / WES certified
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Excellent attention to detail
Able to work in a fast paced, repetitive environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
An effective team player
Strong computer skills including MS Excel and Word
Clean criminal record
Flexibility to work 12hour shifts including weekends
Responsibilities:
Collaborate and coordinate with Assembly teams to maximize quality, efficiency and throughput.
Follow engineering instructions as they apply to builds or experiments
Staff manual line positions as scheduled Inspect and monitor quality and line performance in accordance with documented procedures
Manually inspect and process rejects from the automated vision system determining pass/fail per process procedures
Elevate quality and productivity observations to help minimize defects, scraps and maximize throughput Deliver accurate, timely, and legible record keeping in compliance with procedures
Demonstrate compliant gowning and clean room techniques and maintain a tidy, organized and clean workspace
Communicate ideas and suggestions for improving the Assembly practices to Assembly leadership Understand and comply with applicable EH&S policies, procedures and guidelines and applicable manufacturing procedures
Other miscellaneous duties as required
