Your Role and Responsibilities
As a PeopleSoft Programmer/Developer, you will act as the technical expert in the implementation, upgrade, and support of PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) to guide the design, configuration, setup, and testing of the PeopleSoft application. You will also lead fit/gap sessions, make recommendations on best practices, solve complex technical issues, and interact with the functional team to define system specifications. This work includes technical analysis, developing technical design specifications, development of custom objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements.
The ideal candidate will have well-rounded knowledge of all aspects of the Peoplesoft architecture and toolsets. They will be able to work with clients at all organizational levels to define technical requirements and provide advice on the use of PeopleSoft to support business requirements. In addition to being self-motivated and able to work independently, the ideal candidate will work as a member of a team, cooperating and collaborating with other team members to produce optimum solutions.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience:
- Implementing, upgrading, or supporting PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) version 8.9 or greater, and PeopleTools version 8.49 or higher.
- Developing, testing, documenting, and implementing program/code and configuration changes to the PeopleSoft application, as per technical specifications, using PeopleTools. PeopleTools includes but is not limited to Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, PS/Query, Data Mover.
- Performing application support activities by troubleshooting and correcting issues and defects, reporting to management, and liaising with business and end-user clients.
- Proficient in writing and understanding the SQL scripts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with Public Sector clients is an asset.
- Eligible to obtain Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance.
