Experience: 7 to 12 Years
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced API Automation Tester with a strong background in Guidewire testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Selenium, API testing, particularly with Rest Assured, and have hands-on experience in integrating UI and API automation for end-to-end testing. Familiarity with P&C insurance and Guidewire product testing is essential.
What you bring to the role:
- Minimum 7+ years in Quality Assurance and Testing with 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience in API automation testing.
- Extensive API testing knowledge with 2+ years of hands-on experience with Rest Assured and other API automation tools.
- Service-oriented architecture basics. Difference between WebServices, APIs and microservices.
- Difference between SOAP and REST architecture and APIs. Typical architectural layers of REST,SOAP API implementation.
- Ability to integrate UI and API automation scripts for E2E automation.
- Understanding of continuous integration of API automation scripts.
- A good command over an automation tool and ability to create a framework to do data driven testing and report the results in desired manner.
- Good SQL knowledge to automate data fetch through querying the DB.
- Good knowledge of the OAuth 2.0 framework used across industry.
- Hands on Guidewire policy center experience with functional testing.
- Good knowledge of P&C insurance domain, policy lifecycle.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct API testing to validate the functionality and performance of backend services.
- Lead the testing efforts for various product releases to ensure high-quality work.
- Oversee the creation and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts.
- Guide in Selenium to automate test cases and improve testing efficiency.
- Utilize Guidewire modules including ClaimCenter PolicyCenter and BillingCenter for comprehensive testing.
- Document and report test results providing actionable insights to customers.
- Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance testing methodologies.
