We are looking for an Android Developer Intern - Design System to join our team!
As an Android Developer (Intern), you will play an essential role in the design and evolution of our new design system. You will facilitate the work of other Android developers within product teams.
Analyze, develop, maintain and evolve the Intact design system to facilitate mobile development (Android).
Integrate the Intact design system and ensure it is in line with Android design patterns.
Design, build and maintain highly reusable code.
Collaborate with partner developers to ensure the future of our solutions.
Support design product feeds for platform-related questions and issues.
What you bring to the table:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD, in software engineering, computer science or a related field
Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Winter 2025 Term (January to April)
Must be returning to school in Summer 2025 or Fall 2025 following your internship
Experience with Android Jetpack and Kotlin.
Experience in developing user interfaces (XML/Widget layouts) and knowledge of design system and application quality guidelines for Android.
Examples that demonstrate both mastery of Android development and understanding of Android design patterns.
Knowledge of Git and Atlassian tools.
Understanding of design tools (Figma).
You enjoy working in a collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork, innovation, open-mindedness and fun.
Bilingualism is ESSENTIAL (French and English) * Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking clients and colleagues across the country
