Home Hardware has an exciting opportunity available for an Analytics Reporting Specialist to join our Strategy and Management team. Reporting to the Manager, Analytics, you will support the team in the design and development of analytical solutions, focused on data visualization and end-user experience, with the goal of providing valuable business insights on corporate performance and KPI’s.

What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the Analytics Architect and Senior Analytics Reporting Specialist to deliver consistent analytics branding, engaging reports and dashboards across the organization.
- Work with stakeholders to determine reporting requirements.
- Support Analytics change management across the corporation.
- Support Analytics interaction with 3rd party software and services.
- Ensure daily/weekly/monthly operational activities are completed and troubleshoot, when required.
- Act as an Analytics Reporting advocate working closely with key stakeholders/champions throughout the business.
- Conduct end-user experience training and report/dashboard walkthroughs.
- College diploma in Information Technology, with three to five years’ experience within an analytics role, focusing on authoring reports and dashboards for corporate performance.
- High degree of proficiency in Business Intelligence (Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service), the ability to write and understand DAX at an intermediate level, and experience using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Results-oriented with a focus on quality, while handling multiple demands and competing priorities.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable while operating independently and as part of a team.
- Creative thinker with the ability to see the big picture, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working on small, medium to large business/system projects meeting time and quality targets/standards.
- Experience with waterfall, iterative waterfall, and agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban).
- Experience and interest in Data Mining, Predictive Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, R, Python, Big Data.
- Familiarity with Hardware / Lumber and Building Materials (LBM), or Retail environment.
