This role sits within Laurentian Bank.

As a Second Line Advisor in Third Party Risk Management, you will support the implementation and governance of the bank's third party risk management framework. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the bank's risk management framework is effective and compliant with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and support oversight of the Third Party Risk Framework of the Bank
  • Advise the business and perform effective challenge of risk assessments in the areas supporting Third Party Risk
  • Play a key role in supporting the regulatory change management process and related tools, ensuring visibility on adherence to evolving regulations across the enterprise.
  • Support assessments of third-party vendors.
  • PromoteThird Party issues have risk mitigation strategies.
  • Advise compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, including procurement, legal, and IT, to manage third-party risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement in third-party risk management processes.
  • Ensure ongoing training and knowledge enhancement on emerging risks and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in an appropriate field and three years of relevant experience in risk management
  • Subject matter expert in Third Party Risk Management
  • In-depth knowledge of Third Party risks and B10 Regulatory Guideline
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good writing and documentation skills
  • Bilingualism is strongly desired.
