WSP Global is currently seeking an advisor, Global Communications - IT to join our Global Communications team.

Reporting to the Manager, Global Internal Communications the successful candidate is a strong communicator with a strategic mind and a good understanding of IT.

As part of the Global Communication team, the advisor will work closely with our Global IT leaders and provide expert advice on the direction and implementation of internal communications to support global transformative initiatives led by the Global IT team.

A day in the life:

  • Provides strategic communications advice to WSP’s Global IT Leadership team on how to best position ongoing transformational initiatives, ensuring that the communication approach aligns with and supports WSP’s purpose, guiding principles, and key business objectives.
  • Writes communication plans, key messages, presentations, and various communication assets to support the IT strategy.
  • Develop all employee communication campaigns to inform employees in all regions of upcoming IT initiatives and improvements, with a focus on the added value for employees and business objective support.
  • Develop and maintain the IT section of WSP’s new internal communication platform with WSP’s employee needs in mind
  • Work closely with the Global and Regional Communication teams, as well as with the global design team, and support non-IT-related internal communication initiatives as needed.

What you'll bring to WSP ...

  • 8+ years of experience in Communications, Public Relations or any other experience deemed relevant.
  • Tech savvy with a good understanding of Information Technology and experience working with an internal IT department
  • Client-oriented, agile and solutions focused.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced role, proven ability to perform in a constantly changing environment.
  • Motivated by teamwork, collaboration and the achievement of concrete results.
  • English perfect pen and French bilingualism an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business administration, or related field
