Corporate Development, Applied Research and International (CDARI) is SAIT’s face to industry. The division centralizes and supports industry clients to develop customized non-credit corporate training for their employees and take their innovative product and process ideas to market locally, nationally and internationally. Within CDARI sits a number of support functions including Business Operations, Continuing Education, International, Corporate Training, Applied Research, and Business Intelligence.
CDARI is working with Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS) to deliver a Pre-Apprenticeship Plumbing Lab for individuals looking to start their journey into the trades. We are seeking an instructor to help facilitate the program at SAIT.
SAIT will deliver 6-weeks ( approx. 180 hours) of practical/hands-on lab training.
Topics may include: Workplace Safety, Code, Drawings & Specifications, Tools, Equipment and Materials, Fittings and Fixtures.
Schedule for delivery:
Week 1: June 26 - 30
Week 2: July 3 - 7 (no class July 3rd, Stat Holiday)
Week 3: July 10 - 11
Week 4: July 17 - 21
Week 5: July 24 - 28
Week 6: July 31 - Aug 4
Days: Monday - Friday
Time: (approx) 8am to 3pm
