Responsibilities


Design a business development plan for the region under his/her responsibility in order to build a network of clients and prospects via the following activities:

º Implement a direct solicitation approach for prospects, stakeholders and clients.
º Be an active member of industry associations.
º Obtain references from client and other association stakeholders.
º Target the needs of clients and prospects, anticipate how their situations may evolve and recommend strategies adapted to their needs.
º Carry out preliminary risk analyses to ensure that financing structures are consistent with the Bank's policies, programs and procedures.
º Collaborate with the Manager, Account Analysis, in credit underwriting.
º Ensure that terms and conditions are met (credit risk control).
º Maintain a high level of quality and portfolio performance (profitability and quality).
º Work closely with other stakeholders in the business unit.
º Ensure the Bank's visibility in the industry under his/her responsibility by representing the organization and promoting the Bank's image, in addition to developing and maintaining business relationships with current and potential clients and influential people, etc.
º Perform all tasks of a similar or general nature requested by his or her superior or required for the job.

Qualifications



º University degree in a relevant field and five to eight years of experience
º Excellent business development skills
º Team player
º Excellent spoken and written communication skills in French and English
º Skilled in financial analysis
º Summarizing skills
º Autonomy, initiative and capacity for peer and self-learning
º Ability to manage several projects in a fast-paced work environment
