The Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University and St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH) invite applicants for an academic physician to join the Division of General Internal Medicine. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed two years of subspecialty training in General Internal Medicine and have clinical experience in Point of Care Ultrasound. A combination of clinical, research, and educational activities will be undertaken. This is a full-time faculty position for a period of three years (renewable), with academic rank commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Clinical activities
The successful candidate will be a full-time member of the Division of General Internal Medicine and will be expected to contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division. The successful candidate should also have an active interest in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in general internal medicine, quality, and measurement. Applicants should be certified (or eligible for certification) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario.
