Academic Emergency Physician
The Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University invites applications for an Academic Emergency Physician beginning July 1, 2025. This is a full-time faculty position for a period of three years (renewable). Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate will be a full-time member of the Division of Emergency Medicine and will be expected to contribute to the academic mission of the Faculty and Division. The successful candidate should have a proven track record in undergraduate and/or postgraduate education and will be expected to fully participate in all appropriate departmental and divisional educational activities. Applicants should be certified (or eligible for certification) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC or equivalent) in Emergency Medicine and must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario. Additionally, applicants must have at least 2 years experience as of October 1, 2024 as an Academic Emergency Physician.
