The Opportunity
The School for Advanced Digital Technology (SADT) at SAIT offers an exciting and diverse range of technology and media programs. Our career programs position graduates for success by providing learning experiences that are relevant, skills-oriented, and applied in the real world.
Reporting to the Dean and the Associate Dean, the Academic Chair will lead educational programs specific to the delivery of the career advancement portfolio which includes Business Intelligence Data Analysis and Reporting, Network Systems Specialist, Objected Oriented Software Development, Web Development, and Database Administration. In alignment, this role will lead program quality initiatives and future growth of the portfolio that will continue to contribute to the advancement of SAIT’s reputation.
As a leader in advanced technologies through applied and work-integrated learning opportunities. You will oversee the identification, development of curriculum, delivery and evidence-based continuous improvement of the program for adult learners. In support of program success, the Academic Chair will nurture relationships with industry partners to ensure high quality, leading edge curriculum in support of establishing the school and student experience, as the premiere educational institution in Alberta.
