What is the opportunity?
We are seeking a data analyst (co-op student/intern) to join the Data Management Office (DMO) of RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM). If you are passionate to learn about data, please read on.
What will you do?
Process security, product and employee set up on Eagle system.
Review data quality monitors daily and address data quality issues with data stakeholders.
Analyze data and data workflows to improve data quality.
Participate in data projects (e.g. contribute to GAM’s Data Literacy Program)
Update and organize DMO’s Connect and Confluence (intranet) pages.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
Desire to learn data capabilities such as data management, data governance, data mastering, data quality, data literacy, etc.
Desire to learn data querying skills (e.g. SQL)
Desire to learn data business intelligence tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau)
Nice-to-Have:
Curiosity, self-starter.
Attention to detail and strong verbal/written communication skills.
