Job Description

What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a data analyst (co-op student/intern) to join the Data Management Office (DMO) of RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM). If you are passionate to learn about data, please read on.

What will you do?

  • Process security, product and employee set up on Eagle system.

  • Review data quality monitors daily and address data quality issues with data stakeholders.

  • Analyze data and data workflows to improve data quality.

  • Participate in data projects (e.g. contribute to GAM’s Data Literacy Program)

  • Update and organize DMO’s Connect and Confluence (intranet) pages.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Desire to learn data capabilities such as data management, data governance, data mastering, data quality, data literacy, etc.

  • Desire to learn data querying skills (e.g. SQL)

  • Desire to learn data business intelligence tools (e.g. Excel, Tableau)

Nice-to-Have:

  • Curiosity, self-starter.

  • Attention to detail and strong verbal/written communication skills.
