What is the opportunity?
Are you interested in the opportunity to work as an Automation Analyst Co-op Student for 8-12 Months? By applying to this job posting, you will be considered for multiple roles available across RBC Technology & Operations! Please only apply if you’re available for a full 8 or 12 Month term.
What will you do?
Provide governance, support, coaching, code reviews, process design consulting, and build automation solutions
Develop solutions to meet clients’ growing needs for automation and enhancing process controls & governance
Automate reporting processes by using the combination of tools of Blue Prism, VBA and SQL
Apply data warehouse concepts and methodologies to various projects
Confirm that projects adhere to development standards and guidelines
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus in industrial engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, business commerce, business administration, finance, or accounting,
Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)
Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment
Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environment
Advanced MS Office skills in Excel
Experience in SQL and or VBA
Nice-to-have
Process Expertise: Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
Automation Expertise in one or more of the following: Blue Prism
BI Tools including Tableau, Elastic
Strong MS Office Skills: Visio, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
Prior experience in data integration of disparate data sources
Knowledge of design, development, and implementation utilizing current analytics technologies and architecture, as well as data warehouse concepts and methodologies
Relational database concepts and design experience
Ability to learn and absorb new concepts (in business and in systems) quickly and apply new knowledge
