Adecco is actively seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector in Mississauga, ON, to join our client’s team to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards through thorough inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process. In this full-time role, you will perform Receiving, In-Process, Final, and First Article inspections, review quality reports, ensure compliance with specifications, and provide training to team members. Your expertise will be vital in identifying quality issues and driving continuous improvement, making you an integral part of our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Pay Rate: $30-$40/hour.

- Perform Receiving, In-Process, Final, and First Article inspections as required.
- Review and approve quality reports, including Material Test Reports, NDT reports, and special process reports.
- Ensure post-weld heat treatment and blast & paint processes are performed according to specifications.
- Provide training and detailed instructions when necessary.
- Conduct magnetic particle inspection and dye penetrant inspection as needed.
- Prepare and submit customer quality documentation packages for approval and release.
- Coordinate third-party NDT inspections and customer source inspections.
- Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and ensure material/part traceability throughout the manufacturing process.
- Ensure proper traveler signoffs and accuracy of quality documents.
- Perform internal quality audits to maintain compliance with quality programs.
- Monitor and continually improve the ABS Quality Management System.
- Perform tool calibration when required and ensure inspection tools are calibrated.
- Prepare stamping/marking information for the Deburring department before packaging.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
- Skilled in mechanical inspection techniques for medium/large parts (over 30”) using various metrology equipment.
- Ability to read and understand advanced engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
- Proficient in quality documentation interpretation and adherence.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and vendors.
- Solution-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking with excellent organizational skills.
- Team player who shares expertise and follows instructions to achieve goals.
- Strong problem-solving abilities in challenging situations.
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in quality roles, including quality assurance, control, document control, auditing, and training.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
