The Registrar’s Office (RO) is a large, multi-site operation involved in the entire academic experience of Dalhousie students, from recruitment and admissions through to convocation and beyond.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Student Awards and Financial Aid, the incumbent is responsible for the development, organization and administration of the university financial aid programs, as well as the development of new financial need programs in response to the changing financial situation of the Dalhousie student population. Ensuring that Dalhousie is compliant with provincial/state and federal policy and regulations in relation to provincial, federal and international student loan programs and ensuring that accurate information is communicated to all current and prospective Dalhousie students. The incumbent is responsible for the administration of all financial need programs, including the undergraduate student bursary program, the temporary loan program, and all government loan programs, with a focus on international students.
