Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled Electrical Engineer to join our client’s team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems for various projects in the oil and gas industry. In this role you will provide technical support to operations, maintenance, and shutdown teams, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. Prepare design packages to resolve electrical issues and enhance equipment reliability. Ideally, you will have a solid foundation in electrical engineering principles and experience in applying them to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable systems.

Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot daily electrical issues and support quick resolution efforts.
Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams.
Lead or support investigations into electrical incidents.
Analyze equipment test results to recommend maintenance or upgrades.
Participate in risk assessments and propose engineering solutions.
Develop scopes of work for turnarounds and provide support during execution.
Recommend materials, equipment, and services for procurement.
Create engineering work packages for improvements, ensuring compliance with standards.
Review vendor documentation and assess equipment data for end-of-life planning.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Minimum of five years of experience in troubleshooting low to medium voltage electrical equipment and preparing engineering work packages.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Professional Engineer designation or eligibility for APEGA membership.
Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and best practices.
Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
