Where technology meets business strategy. One part Executive Advisor, one part Strategy Engineer, and one part Special Projects Leader - this role wears many hats as it works closely with Deloitte’s technology leaders to define and deliver on the firm’s technology priorities.
What will your typical day look like?
A typical day for the Manager, Technology Strategy involves synthesizing executive discussions to frame and articulate the technology team's strategy, monitoring market developments, and anticipating potential external shifts. The role includes collaborating closely with Deloitte’s Information Officer, preparing strategic presentations, and liaising with stakeholders. The Manager drives the strategic planning process, ensuring alignment and accountability among leaders, and overseeing the execution of strategic initiatives. Additionally, they manage special projects and conduct in-depth analyses to support the strategic agenda. This dynamic role requires balancing high-level strategic thinking with detailed execution, catalyzing innovation, and maintaining a forward-looking perspective on technology trends.
About the team
The Technology Business Management (TBM) team is responsible for shaping and executing Deloitte’s Technology Strategy, ensuring effective IT Financial Management, driving clear and impactful Communications, and fostering Technology Engagement and Adoption. They align technology initiatives with business goals, manage IT budgets, optimize costs, and deliver transparent financial reporting. Additionally, they enhance stakeholder communication, promote user engagement, and facilitate the adoption of new technologies to maximize business value. Through strategic planning and execution management, the TBM team ensures technology investments support organizational objectives and drive innovation.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
- A professional with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in business or technology strategy in a consulting environment.
- Degree in business, computer science, or engineering, preferably a graduate degree, and you are well versed in both technology and business fields.
- Who wants to use your depth of knowledge to support the Technology Leadership team, but also demonstrate a strong ability to adapt and learn.
- You have well-honed executive and board-level communication and analysis skills.
- You are highly organized and excel at leading multiple strategic initiatives and special projects concurrently.
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $156,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
