As a Senior Investment Funds Advisor, you’ll play a crucial role in managing and expanding an established client portfolio, supporting their financial goals while growing our client base. Your expertise in client service, relationship management, and business development will be key to our team’s success.

What will you do?
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with an assigned group of clients, providing tailored investment recommendations and exceptional client service to foster trust and retention.
Provide client with general information on financial planning concepts, including tax, estate and retirement planning.
Improve client retention, asset consolidation, and referral opportunities by delivering high-quality client service and consistent, proactive support to your clients.
Expand your client base by fostering referrals from the Investment Funds Centre, our RBC partners, and other centers of influence.
Identify and connect clients with additional RBC services or partners as appropriate.
Stay informed of regulatory changes and adopt practices accordingly to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
Seek ways to optimize client service practices and contribute to a seamless, efficient client experience across the business.
Collaborate with leadership to coach and develop the Investment Funds Advisor Assistant team and offering mentorship and support to the Investment Funds Centre Advisors.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Completion of the Investment Funds in Canada, (IFIC ) or Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
7-10 years of client-facing experience in the investment industry.
5+ years as a dedicated advisor managing client investment needs.
Proven expertise in business development and relationship-building.
Financial Planning Designation (PFP or CFP).
Nice to Have
Bilingual proficiency in French, both written and spoken.
Completion of Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) and/or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.

The expected base salary range for the above position is $80,000 - $100,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.
This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
