What Is The Opportunity?
As a Sr. Technology Infrastructure Analyst at Mainframe Storage team will work collaboratively within the mainframe group and will be accountable to the Director and his/her management team. The group has a close and intensive iteration with Operations teams, Production, z/OS Operating System, security, Database and DC and application teams.
What Will You Do?
In this position you will be engaged on Mainframe Storage management team sharing responsibilities for all scope of the following topics:
Space administration and performance monitoring
DFSMS constructs and ACS customization
DFSMSHSM administration and all other DFSMS components (DFP, DSS, RMM, OAM),
On-Demand tool support
z/OS utilities
Catalog administration and maintenance tools
Disk space planning and utilization monitoring
Process documentation
What Do You Need To Succeed?
Must have:
Undergraduate degree coupled with change management experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities.
Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Nice-to-have:
DB2 or IMS database knowledge
REXX programming language
