Responsibilities
Develop a business development plan with a goal to develop a network of customers and prospects through the following activities:
- Establishment of a direct prospecting approach with prospects / stakeholders / customers.
- Targets the needs of customers and prospects and anticipates the evolution of their financing requirements, recommends strategies adapted to their needs.
- Preliminary risk analysis to ensure that the financing structure complies with the Bank's policies, programs and procedures.
- Collaborates with the underwriter in drafting the credit.
- Ensures that the terms and conditions are respected (credit risk control).
- Maintains a high level of portfolio quality and performance (profitability and quality).
- Works in close collaboration with other stakeholders in the sector.
- Ensures full compliance with our service guarantee.
- Ensures the visibility of the Bank in the industry under its responsibility by acting as a representative of the organization in order to promote the image of the Bank
by developing and maintaining business relationships with current customers, potential and influential industry participants, etc. - Working knowledge of current industry trends and changes in legislation to ensure the evolution of existing practices.
- Makes recommendations to improve work processes.
- Perform any other task of the same nature or of a general nature requested or required in the context of his duties.
Qualifications
- University education in a relevant field and 5-8 years of experience
- Excellent business development skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Both English and French communication is an asset;
- Strong financial analysis;
- Strong analytical thinking;
- Autonomy, initiative and ability to learn from peers and oneself;
- Ability to manage multiple files in a dynamic work environment.
*Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
