Adecco is currently hiring a full-time skilled and experienced Millwright to join our client’s maintenance team in Belleville, ON. The Millwright will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.

- Install, assemble, and align new industrial machinery and mechanical systems according to specifications.
- Maintain and repair machinery, including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems, using diagnostic tools and technical drawings.
- Dismantle, move, and install large and heavy machinery when required.
- Align and calibrate machines and equipment for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering personnel to resolve complex equipment problems.
- Follow safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment during all repair and installation activities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, including repairs, parts used, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Operate hoists, cranes, and other lifting devices to position machinery during installation and maintenance.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and manuals to understand machinery specifications.
- Recommend improvements and modifications to equipment and processes for better efficiency and performance.
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
- Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent apprenticeship.
- 3+ years of experience working as a millwright in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery installation, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Familiarity with tools, precision measuring instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy machinery, stand for long periods, and work in various conditions (heights, confined spaces, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of welding and fabrication is a plus.
