External Posting Description

  • Participate in solution design activities (e.g. requirements gathering, system analysis, and system design)
  • Identify requirement “gaps” and provide design alternatives to maintain a high degree of quality in the solution build
  • Design the solution for a module, collaborating with other designers
  • Lead a particular work stream, reviewing, and directing the work of more junior staff
  • Coordinate activities between work streams and identify changes in scope
  • Configure solutions or processes to meet identified business requirements, processes and functional requirements
  • Participate in testing activities, troubleshooting any errors found in the solution configuration
  • Ensure that the solution standard practices are utilized for all configuration and customization
  • Provide insight and expertise into the solution configuration based on previous work experiences and education
  • Work independently to deliver a portion of the solution build
  • Contributor to work plans for components on engagements

External Posting Qualifications

  • College or Bachelor's degree, preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, other IT discipline.
  • Typically has 6-8 or more years consulting and/or industry experience (Bachelor’s) or 9-10 or more years (College)
  • Intermediate expertise in one cloud technology mentioned above
  • Experience with software development support tools (e.g. JIRA tracking software)
  • Programming expertise with XML or Java programming languages or similar
  • Problem solving, trouble-shooting and analytical skills
  • Strong technical skills including understanding of software development and configuration principles
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Self-taught and ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to remain calm
  • Working skills of Microsoft applications of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio, Project
  • Functional business knowledge of HR, Marketing or Finance sub-disciplines (e.g. compensation, performance management, marketing campaigns, accounts payable, spend management, etc.)
