As our clients seek to grow their businesses, our Mergers and Acquisitions team provides expertise in profiling attractive industry sectors, developing acquisition programs and strategies, screening potential targets, negotiating transactions, performing due diligence on targets and in assisting in integration strategy.

 

As a member of our Transaction Services team within Financial Advisory, you'll help strategic buyers and private equity firms by conducting commercial due diligence, developing M&A strategies, conducting target screening, and providing strategic advisory in the context of divestiture or restructuring. Using your deep technical skills and leveraging our global network of experts, you'll provide insight to companies in every industry, and in every situation. The result? Our clients will be better placed to leverage the opportunities in the marketplace and achieve their strategic objectives.

External Posting Qualifications

  • Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials
  • Must have an MBA or CPA designation; or in the process of completing CPA designation
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in strategy and business development, with experience in M&A advisory an asset
  • Strong external advisory experience
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence
  • Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management
  • Experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations and team leadership
  • Canadian travel required, occasional international travel. Candidates must be able to enter the USA to work on client assignments
