What is the opportunity?  


In the role of Manager, Transformation, Private Banking, you will be responsible to lead initiatives that are tied to the execution of Private Banking growth strategy. This role holds expert knowledge of technology, business process and is a subject matter expert in the end to end and overall business of Private banking, for both Operations and Credit. Responsible to identify, research, analyze and recommend and execute on solutions to meet business issues and strategy, while maintaining client experience.  You will lead and partner with employees of Private Banking, Wealth Management Canada, Enterprise Functions and Personal &Commercial Banking. You will support execution of initiatives including creation of applicable documentation (Project Management, communication plans, procedural documentation, and policy), measures performance and informs future strategies.  


What will you do?


  • Prioritization and sequencing of key initiatives for greatest impact to achieve enhance the client ,high growth and continued business compliance.
  • Complete detailed analysis of the initiative as it applies to the personal and/or business product, credit, operations and fulfillment needs/requirements to ensure design and functionality of the end to end process is client focused and efficient and effective.
  • Subject matter expert in the end to end and overall business of Private Banking, with accountability to identify, research, analyze, recommend and execution solutions to business issues.
  • Responsible for clear, concise and accurate completion of detailed processes including operating guidelines, Job Aids, process maps and technical/operational training material and execution plan to facilitate successful execution of transformational initiatives.
  • Proactively identify innovative opportunities to enhance client experience and business/process efficiency and effectiveness. Understand full impact of end to end business process Validates/tests functionality (UAT) and interdependencies of the end to end process with stakeholders and the overall client experience.
  • Contributes by providing analytics and program support which aids in revenue generation, resource focus, improving operational effectiveness, and ensuring cost efficiencies by ensuring successful implementation and prioritization of initiatives. 


Must Have

  • Knowledge/expertise of Credit granting processes, applications, operations fulfillment  with experience  in both retail and commercial banking with 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of Personal & Commercial Banking applications, products, business architecture, process excellence disciplines, methodologies and tools
  • Strong leadership skills including strong communication, coaching experience, information seeking, facilitation and ability to provide impact & influence
  • Highly achievement motivated team player superior knowledge and experience in delivering business solutions and program management, with strong people leadership skills including strong communication, coaching experience, information seeking, and ability to provide impact & influence


Nice to Have 

  •   Strong understanding and experience of High Net Worth Client Segment and Private Banking
  •   University Degree
  •   Experience working in a matrix organization structure
  •   Experience in change management
