Your Career as a Scotiabank Consultant in Talent Acquisition
We believe in relationships! Your goal is to champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Leading the end-to end recruitment process for the entry level Customer Service and Financial Advisor roles in our branch network, including intake sessions with Hiring Managers, communication with candidates, assessments, offer management and negotiation, and making exception decisions from the business on salary and benefits, plus making hiring decisions for multi-incumbent, high-volume roles, as required, without oversight from the business are the key activities in your day to day. Your focus is the candidate; you must act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process. Innovation and creativity in driving successful outcomes and acquiring the best people are the keys to your success. We will ask you to focus on sourcing and attracting top talent through various channels and building a pipeline of candidates for key or high volume roles. Bottom line, we believe it's imperative that you are a champion of a high performance environment and are willing to implement a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their fellow Consultants by fostering an inclusive work environment.
What kind of education and experience do you need?
Ideally you will have 3 years of progressive recruitment experience, preferably in a high volume environment. Proven ability to conduct intake meetings with leaders at all levels. Experience sourcing candidates using various channels and social media platforms. Experience working with aligned business/function/geography. Demonstrated expertise in behavioural interviewing techniques. Post-secondary degree or diploma preferred.
PLEASE NOTE: The ideal candidate will be located in Edmonton. Candidates located in other locations within Central Alberta or Northern Alberta with talent acquisition experience may be considered.
