What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will be responsible for functional support of derivatives systems and for delivery of business solutions to our external and internal clients through the enhancement of products, processes and functionality.  In addition, you will be a key participant in day to day derivatives applications support, issue trouble shooting and resolution as well as in the project life cycle from inception to production. You will liaise between stake holders and internal development teams to ensure detailed requirements are understood and documented, and facilitate the building or modifying of our applications to meet clients’ and industry needs.  You will engage in new client conversions, configuration of products/functionality, and support of production issues.

 

*This is a 16 month full time contract opportunity.

 

What will you do?

  • Investigate production systems/applications issues, trouble shoot and provide with timely solutions working in cooperation with IT support
  • Perform systems and products configuration and set up
  • Elicit and translate customer product requirements into comprehensive, complete and accurate business, functional and non-functional requirements
  • Identify functional or operational gaps through competitive analysis, research, monitoring industry trends and prioritizing clients’ requests
  • Contribute to the implementation of new products and communicate effectively between internal and external stakeholders to ensure product satisfaction is maintained
  • Participate in defining test strategy and perform functional testing to ensure product quality is maintained
  • Participate in product documentation including user and implementation guides

 

What do you need to succeed?

 

Must-have:

  • Knowledge in Capital Markets field, good understanding of listed and OTC derivatives
  • Recent experience in delivery within a Murex project, experience with Murex Front Office, Accounting Module, DataMart
  • University degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills

 

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience working in Agile Lab
  • Experience in LV1 or LV2 applications support
